Wonderspark Puppets: "Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup"

Wonderspark Puppets returns with "Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup", a story based on the book by Pamela Mayer. The story revolves around two grandmothers, one Jewish and one Chinese, who come up with elaborate ways to show their granddaughter that their cultural heritage (their chicken soup) is the best. We visit the Book of Ruth as well as the Monkey King. The themes in this story include mixed-race families, cultural heritage, and the joy of cooking.

Wonderspark Puppets present a traditional booth puppet show, appropriate for preschool and early elementary students. The show is 35-40min. View the trailer for Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup.

No online registration. Tickets for performance available outside entrance to Black Box Theater  on lower level beginning at 3:30pm.

The performance is part of the "All Together Now" Summer Reading at Greenwich Library.
