Friends Performing Arts: Pilobolus

Pilobolus is a rebellious dance company that tests the limits of human physicality and explores the beauty and power of connected bodies. The group was founded at New Hampshire’s Dartmouth College in 1971. Three men enrolled in a dance composition class taught by Alison Becker Chase. In that class, they created their first dance, which they titled “Pilobolus,” —and a legacy of movement and magic was born.  Shortly after, Robby Barnett, Alison Chase, Martha Clarke, Moses Pendleton, Michael Tracy, and Jonathan Wolken founded Pilobolus, the company that continues to propel the seeds of expression via human movement to every corner of the world, growing and changing each year while reaching new audiences and exploring new visual and physical planes.

This specially curated experience will be hosted by Pilobolus Artistic Director, Matt Kent.
