Friends Friday Films: The Women, with Reel Talk Speaker Margaret Parsons

Before the film, join us at 6:30 for a lecture from Margaret Parsons, Curator Emerita of Film, National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. She has held past positions at the Smithsonian Institution, The National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In conjunction with the Greenwich Historical Society’s exhibit “Life: Six Women Photographers,” come join us for this classic comedy of manners penned by Greenwich icon Clare Booth Luce. One of the wittiest and fast-talkingest comedies to come out of classic Hollywood, the entirely female cast features Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell in a hilariously biting critique of New York socialites. Unrated, 2h12m. Check out a trailer here!
