BRAVE CONVERSATIONS: Film Screening and Workshop

Public Enemies, Private Friends is an inspiring film about the aftermath of the shooting of two abortion clinic workers in the 1990s - and the path to peace paved by years of secret meetings between women on opposite sides of the issue. Please join us for a screening of the film, Q & A with the filmmaker, Sarah Perkins, and a mini-workshop on having constructive conversations across differences led by a national expert.

You'll come away invigorated by hope and the discovery of easy-to-use practical tools for polarizing topics that you can use in your day-to-day life from the holiday dinner table to the workplace, community spaces and beyond, along with a welcoming community of people ready to focus on our common humanity. This event flips the script by using abortion not as a cultural flashpoint, but as a vehicle to talk about peace-making and bridging divides.
