Intro to Innovative Crochet
Join math artist Shiying Dong for a relaxing hands-on workshop on innovative crochet where you will learn simple stitches to create crochet with a geometric twist! Participants are welcome to attend the 2-part Intermediate crochet program later in the week.
This program is appropriate for adults and teens of all skill levels. No registration is required, but seating is limited to 12 and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. All supplies provided.
Dr. Dong teaches topological crochet at the National Museum of Mathematics, and recently created an award winning paper-craft design featured in the NY Times.
