How to Excel at Excel: 4 Rules for Formulas

The biggest obstacle people grapple with in Excel is the F-word: Formulas. But this powerful feature of the indispensable spreadsheet app can actually be enjoyable and often fun. We will learn how to create formulas the easy way and how to do amazing calculations in just a few mouse clicks. We’ll see how formulas can help us buy a car, and we’ll even use them to create a game.

Presenter: Rich Malloy

Rich Malloy has an M.B.A. and works as a computer consultant based in Greenwich, CT. Formerly he served as an Adjunct Professor at Norwalk Community College, where he taught computer applications. For the first half of his career, he served as a magazine editor, as Executive Editor of Byte magazine and Editor-in-Chief of Mobile Computing magazine. He is a Microsoft-certified Expert in Excel and Word.
