For Saturday, March 29: AARP Tax Help will be offered in the Jewel Room, located on the First Floor of the Main Library in the Peterson Business Wing.

Free tax prep help will be available through the AARP Foundation every Saturday from 9:30 am -2:30pm, with last appointment/walk-in taken at 1:30pm. Tax assistance will run February 1 through and including April 12, with IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers. The volunteers will be located in the Meeting Room on the second floor of the Main Library.

This year, appointments are NOT required. The signup sheet for service will be managed by the AARP volunteers. You may be asked to return at a future date if the volunteer tax preparers are already at capacity for the day. 

All patrons are welcome to take advantage of this service, not just AARP-eligible members. Please bring a photo ID along with all income and expense information, social security cards for all people on the return, and last year’s tax return.
