Friends Friday Films: The Crime is Mine, with Reel Talk speaker Joe Meyers

In this comedic caper set in 1930s Paris, a young actress finds herself accused of murdering a lecherous producer. Her roommate, an aspiring lawyer, takes on the case, as the path to finding the truth takes unexpected turns with politicians, bureaucrats, and a famed older actress (Isabelle Huppert) butting in. 1h42m. Rated R for some language and brief nudity. Check out a trailer here!

Reel Talk: After the film, stay with us for a Q&A with Joe Meyers, the Director of Programming for the Focus on French Cinema festival. An experienced reporter of many years, Meyers has shared his film criticism in print for many publications including the Connecticut Post and Greenwich Time.
