Writers Open-Mic Night with Greenwich Pen Women

Time to seize the spotlight!

Open Mic Night is a live, in-person event, coordinated in real-time. Please register in advance for seating. Once at the event, people who want to read their work aloud sign up for five-minute timed slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm.  There will be 20 five-minute slots for speakers this evening. Five minutes is enough time for writers to read 500-700 words of fiction, memoir, poetry, essays, scenes, lyrics, blogs, or other work. Please respect that the library is a public venue, no politics, profanity or promotion.

A moderator manages the flow and a timekeeper monitors the five-minute time slots.
