Medicare Part D Open Enrollment Assistance

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROGRAM TAKES PLACE ON THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE LIBRARY. PLEASE PARK NEAR THE CAFE ENTRANCE.

Are you paying too much for your prescription drug coverage?  Medicare Open Enrollment begins on October 15th and concludes on December 7th.  During this annual window, Medicare beneficiaries can re-evaluate their prescription drug coverage.  All changes made during Open Enrollment will go into effect January 1, 2026.

The Commission on Aging highly recommends that all Medicare beneficiaries review prescription drug coverage options each year as opposed to simply allowing an existing drug plan to automatically renew.  Changes to drug plan premiums and plan formularies can leave you locked-in to a plan that costs more and provides less coverage.

Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025, Medicare Beneficiaries can schedule a 30-minute session with a certified CHOICES Counselor at Greenwich Library or at The Wallace Center (299 Greenwich Avenue). Click here to register: Wallace Center Medicare Consultation Request. Participants are encouraged to create a MyMedicare.gov account prior to their appointment. Contact the Wallace Center at 203-862-6707 for assistance.
