NotebookLM 101: Organize Smarter and Work Faster with Google AI
What is Notebook LM?
NotebookLM is Google’s AI-powered research tool that helps you collect and organize content—like websites, videos, documents, and notes—all in one place. Once you've added your materials, you can ask questions specifically about that content, without unrelated information getting in the way.
Think of it like a personal school notebook: you control what goes in, and any answers you get come only from what you’ve included. If you want outside opinions or sources, you can choose to add them.
You can even create separate notebooks for different topics or projects, like “Plant a Square Foot Vegetable Garden,” “Learn Spanish in 60 Days,” or “Compare Honda Odyssey to Toyota Sienna.”
In this workshop, you will:
- Gain a clear understanding of what NotebookLM is and why it's the collaborator you always wished you had
- Explore the interface and get comfortable with its intuitive, built-in features
- Learn best practices for how to gather the best information for each notebook
- Use the chat function to brainstorm innovative and creative possibilities
- Learn how use NotebookLM on your mobile device and even how to have a conversation with it…literally
