Intro to Arduino Microcontrollers

Curious about coding or electronics but not sure where to start? Microcontrollers are tiny, programmable computers used to control devices and systems—from smart thermostats to robots. Arduino is a popular and beginner-friendly type of microcontroller, perfect for learning how hardware and software work together.

Stop by the Innovation Lab between 2-4pm to experiment with our Arduino project kits! Try our Morse Code Decoder kit and build a beginner-level circuitry project with simple cut-and-paste code. We also offer intermediate and advanced kits for families, teens and adults. Our staff will be there to guide you and answer questions along the way.

This program is appropriate for youth ages 10 and up, teens and adults. No registration is required.
