Everyday Tools, Extraordinary Impact: How AI is Shaping Assistive Technology for Daily Life Online

Join us for a relaxed, informative session designed for caregivers, family members, and community advocates who want to better understand how artificial intelligence (AI) is being paired with assistive technology (AT) to support independence, learning, and quality of life. Together, we’ll explore the basics of AI-powered AT, including real-life examples of tools that help with communication, organization, learning, mobility, and more. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what AT is (and what it isn’t), how to find the right tools, and how new technologies like AI can be thoughtfully used to support—not replace—human connection and care. This is a judgment-free, jargon-free zone—come as you are and bring your questions!
