Julie Jason, JD, LLM began her career as a Wall Street securities lawyer before moving into management, eventually leaving to set up her own independent fiduciary boutique, where her team manages personal portfolios for high-net-worth families. A passionate advocate for investor protection and financial literacy at every income level, she has been called "the trusted voice of retirement investing" by the Institute for Financial Literacy.

Her award-winning weekly column—more than 1,400 installments to date—is syndicated by Andrews McMeel. Her finance books have earned the EIFLE Award and the CLARION Award for excellence in financial literacy education and clarity in writing. She is working on her tenth book, aimed at engaging women who normally avoid financial topics.
