Friends Friday Films: Tokyo Godfathers

Inspired by the old west story of "Three Godfathers," this animated film tells the tale of three homeless friends--a middle-aged alcoholic, a teenaged runaway girl, and a trans woman--when they find an abandoned baby on Christmas Eve. Their quest to find the infant's parents leads them down unexpected paths of self-discovery and miracles in this profound story of the irrepressible human spirit. This film is rated PG-13.
