Join us for an afternoon of musical splendor as we present the second concert in the magnificent Musicians from Marlboro Series, featuring Kristina Bachrach, soprano; Giorgio Consolati, flute/piccolo; Joseph Lin, violin; En-Chi Cheng, viola; Brannon Cho & Matthew Zalkind, cello; Lydia Brown, piano. Alternating between contemplation and ecstasy, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Shulamit Ran’s Moon Songs for soprano, flute, cello, and piano are at the center of this program, which includes Mozart’s Divertimento, a singular work that achieves “something special in the way of art, invention, and good spirits.”
