Comedy Night with Friends

Register to guarantee a seat to this special night of comedy. Doors open at 6:30 and the laughter begins at 7:00 p.m. This program will not be livestreamed or recorded.

Are you in the mood for a good laugh (or two)? The Friends of Greenwich Library are tickled to present an evening of comedy. Award-winning comedian Jane Condon will be introducing the night's main act Wendy Liebman as they take the Berkley stage for a night full of laughter and fun. Immediately following the performance will be a brief and lively Q&A with audience members and the performers.

About the Performers:

Local Greenwich comedian Jane Condon will open the night of laughs as she introduces Wendy Liebman. Condon’s TV credits include appearances on The View, The Today Show, Nickelodeon’s NickMom Night Out, and Last Comic Standing. Jane was the 2019 winner of the She-Devil Comedy Festival, a Pro winner of the nationwide Ladies of Laughter Contest, and an “Audience Favorite—New York” on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She had her own off-Broadway one-woman show, Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained!, in 2011, and in 2017 she published a book of cartoons, Chardonnay Moms, with collaborator Bobbi Eggers. 

The headlining comedian Wendy Liebman has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Jay Leno Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Kimmel, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and at colleges, benefits, events, and in comedy clubs throughout the U.S., England, and Canada. Wendy has starred in specials for HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central, and was a Semi-Finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent. Her first tour, Wendy Liebman: Taller On TV is available on Amazon. In 2021 she appeared on Showtime's Even More Funny Women Of A Certain Age.
