Heritage with Hoopla: Ancestors in State Records

Join us as we wander through Hoopla's "Discovering Your Roots: An Introduction to Genealogy" using The Great Courses series. Good genealogists always take advantage of local sources outside the courthouse as well, including state archives, which hold records that resulted from the administration of state laws. Here, you'll learn how to tap into the information found in original sources (such as census and military records) and derivative sources (including maps and newspapers).

No registration is required! Attendees will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited to 18. Please arrive early as the program will start right on time.
