Jr. Book Club (Grades 4-6)

Kids in grades 4-6 can join us in the Children's Constellation Room to discuss award-winning author Kekla Magoon's new mystery, Chester Keene Cracks the Codeand work together to solve some puzzles of our own.

Chester Keene takes great comfort in his routines. After school Monday to Thursday is bowling, and Friday, the best of days, is laser tag! But Chester has one other very special thing—he gets secret spy messages from his dad, who must be on covert government assignments, which is why Chester has never met him. Then one day, Chester’s classmate, Skye, approaches him with a clue. They’ve been tasked with a complex puzzle-solving mission.

Copies of this month's book are set aside for Junior Book Club participants in the Children's Room. Sign up, and then call or visit the Children's Room to get a copy for the discussion.
