Space Availability - Study Rooms

Greenwich Library offers rooms for individual study as well as rooms for groups study or small meetings. Keys for all study rooms may be picked up at the 1st floor Reference Desk. 

Individual Study Rooms 

  • For individual quiet study
  • No talking or cell phone usage is allowed, nor is any other activity that produces noise of any kind. Laptops and tablets must be used in silent mode.
  • May be reserved for 3 hours per day up to 7 days in advance.  An additional 3 hours per day may be added, depending upon availability by visiting the Welcome Desk.
  • Located on the east mezzanine above the non-fiction area on the 1st floor of the library

Group Study Rooms - 2nd Floor

  • For 1-4 people
  • May be reserved by a group for up to 3 hours per day, up to 7 days in advance.  Back-to-back reservations by members of same group are not permitted. Individual patrons conducting a virtual meeting may be eligible to reserve a room.
  • Extensions are not permitted.
  • Located on the 2nd floor of the library

Community Meeting Rooms - 1st Floor, Peterson Business Wing

  • For 1-10 people
  • May be reserved by a group for up to 3 hours per day, up to 7 days in advance.  Back-to-back reservations by members of same group are not permitted. Individual patrons conducting a virtual meeting may be eligible to reserve a room.
  • Extensions are not permitted.
  • Located on the 1st floor of the library in the Peterson Business Wing

Additional terms for group rooms:

  • You may book both types of group rooms in a day, but the reservations cannot total more than 3 hrs.
