Friends Friday Films: "Pride"

To honor LGBTQ History Month, come to join us for a celebration of authenticity and allyship. In this uplifting true story, London-based gay and lesbian activists join forces with miners on strike in 1980s Wales. During the midst of the AIDS crisis, not all miners are thrilled about the support of these activists, and not all in the LGBTQ community feel eager to help the rural communities whose prejudice they fled. Pride is a lovingly told story; an unabashed celebration of allyship and coming into one's own at any age.

For your safety, all attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination (in the form of their CDC Vaccination Card or a photo or photocopy of the Card) or a negative PCR Test taken within 72 hours of the event. No one will be admitted without this documentation. Protocols may be modified as and when laws, science, and/or institutional requirements change. Capacity in the Berkley Theater is set at 100% for adult programs. All attendees also must wear face masks (regardless of vaccination status), per the Town of Greenwich.

Admission to Friends Friday Films is open to all at no charge. Showtime is 7 pm. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or a negative PCR Test taken within 72 hours of the event.
